Mission
Despite the increasing demand for sustainable water management and sanitation, we face a lack of experts and businesses that offer relevant products and services. cewas has been created as an institutional answer to this situation.
The two main objectives of cewas are:
- To strengthen implementation skills in the field of sustainable sanitation and water management
- To develop the international market in the field of sustainable sanitation and water management
The main activities of cewas are:
- Building up SMEs (advanced education, coaching, backstopping), highly-qualified service and product providers in the field of sustainable sanitation and water management
- Capacity development among experts, other practitioners from the sector and individuals Providing a networking platform for research and development (R&D) partners, SMEs, public authorities (e.g. policy makers) and non-governmental organisations
